Bluemind 3.5.5 Webmail Access

Hi I just setup bluemind 3.5.5 on my server 2 days ago.

After my tweeking in maily postfix ( spam etc ), the webmail interface seems to be unassailable.
I can only log into the admin console and not into the webmail portal to check emails.

I looked through the mail logs and I dont see any errors coming up.
What module/logs do I need to look at to see what could have gone wrong.

What do you get when you log with simple user on /webmail URL ?

Check /var/log/bm-webmail, /var/log/bm-hps or /var/log/nginx.

when I logged with a simple user I would get their account settings page for that account.

I decided to rebuild the mail server again.

What I noticed today while playing with the roles setting, is that if the mail and contacts role is not enabled, thus
locking the user out of the webmail application.

So that could have been the problem.

I also cant enable certain roles for the user under the general setting for roles
like change self mail filters… the option is greyed out

That’s right, you need to set role to your account to get access to BlueMind application other than Settings.

Default user and admin group can be used to set user or admin role to an account.

There is a bug in BlueMind 3.5.5-5 so some of role could not be check.
