How can I upgrade and resolve the issue regarding openSSL and the heartbleed bug?

Yes of course, just take care to disable BlueMind source from /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bm.list to don’t upgrade BlueMind if you don’t have subscription or don’t want to upgrade BlueMind in the same time.
You can upgrade only openssl too.
After upgrade openssl, you need to restart some services (Nginx, postfix, ssh…) manualy on Ubuntu 12.04 for now.
And how do i do that? apt-get update/upgrade dosnt seem to do the trick? 
Maybe ubuntu patch is already apply on your system ?
We don’t provide openssl, we use ubuntu openssl package.
